You won’t pay any monthly service fees or minimum balance fees. At GMFCU we want your money to go towards things you need, not fees. Use your Free Mastercard® Debit Card to pay anywhere Visa® is accepted, or use it in our ATM network. You are also protected against fraudulent activity on your Mastercard® Debit Card purchases with the Mastercard® zero-liability guarantee. This protection helps block suspicious transactions that take place, particularly when they occur in foreign countries where fraud is prevalent. Everyone makes mistakes. We offer two programs to help you avoid overdrafts on your checking account. Overdraft Protection and Member Privilege. Opt in to these programs to ensure maximum protection against overdrafts.
Breathe easy by opting into our Overdraft Protection. We’ll automatically transfer money from your GMFCU Savings account to avoid overdrafts from check or debit card purchases. Enrolling is free, and you only pay a $3 per item fee when it is used.
With our courtesy pay program, Member Privilege, GMFCU will cover checks, electronic payments, debit card transactions and transfers that will not clear due to Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF). This will help you avoid the expense of returned item fees. We do charge a $35 fee per item covered, and you have up to 30 days to get your account back to a positive balance.
Our Online Banking makes your account available to you whenever you want it. Check balances, transactions, view images of checks from the convenience of your home, phone or tablet. You can also perform transfers, make loan payments, view e-statements and more.
Easily pay your bills online from your GMFCU accounts. You can set up an unlimited amount of payees, schedule automatic and reoccurring payments. You can even receive electronic summary versions of paper bills directly from your Bill Pay account.
